Hello! Welcome to Team Ukraine's blog! The plan is to use this as a platform for us to post updates from our month long trip in Ukraine! If you want to meet Team Ukraine (or more so, look at us), our team photo is the background of this blog. But I'm sure you already caught on. Thank you SO much to everyone who donated money to each person on the team or to the team overall. We have benefited from this IMMENSELY and we want you to know how much of an impact you've made on making this trip happen. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU! If you don't know, or you want a recap, 11 of us are going to Ukraine for a month to live in orphanages and run essentially a Vacation Bible School for orphaned children/teens or do anything else that needs to be done in the orphanages. We are so excited to embark on this journey and glorify our Lord Jesus Christ.
On another note, WE LEAVE IN 5 DAYS!!! That's crazy. It has been such a journey for all of us to get here, but the time has finally come! Whether you are reading this before we leave or after, we would all ask that you say a quick prayer for us, the people we will be working with, and the country of Ukraine. Here are some concrete ideas of things to pray for:
- open hearts of the people we will be working with in just a few short days!
-for God to completely transform lives
-healing in any and all capacities
-the eradication of ALL spiritual warfare (this is so real, but our God is greater!!)
-team unity (everyone we interact with will see how close we are to each other and that is such a testament to who we are and who our God is who loves us. The more we love each other, the easier it will be to love the children. This is vital.)
-safety
-good health
-no lice!
-wisdom in conversation
-ultimately, that in everything we do, we would do it for the glory of God!
Have you prayed yet?
good!
Thank you!!
with love,
Megan Adams (just one of the 4 blonde girls on Team Ukraine)

We will be praying fervently for you guys. Be safe, be strong, and be brave! 2 Timothy 1:7!
